The key goal of the new Bistro website will be to focus on driving in reservations to their upscale restaurant with a clear call to action to drive in reservations to the Bistro as a key emphasis. In keeping in mind with only having one or two clicks per web visitor, it will be important to have an uncluttered navigation.

Yep I agree, let me review the information that you've sent over. I'll be on this either later today or tomorrow and I'll update you on the progress from there.

Also if it’s ok, tomorrow I’d love for you to spend maybe 30 minutes to have a video chat with Krista on the Boudin brand page. She’s newer in Wordpress but has a good feel for the corporate side of Boudin and is working on a better outline for that page. If you have bandwidth for that I think it would be fun for her to work with you directly for a few minutes.

OK no worries. I'll make some more headway on the easier page outlines that you sent over today. You can let me know what time slots you need Krista and I'll make myself available. Also, what pages do you need completed by Thursday for your client meeting?

Our process

Here's what we did

Progress update

As we do with all large-scale website builds, we first reviewed the design discovery information that the client sent over.

They provided us with their website style likes & dislikes, as well as inspiration websites that they were looking to model their own after.

From there, we found a WordPress theme "Bridge" which provided a suitable base for the websites development, and created a list of custom functionality that the site would need.

Our Goals
  • Review Design Discovery Information
  • Decide on WordPress Theme
  • Create a list of necessary Functionality.
Progress update

After preparing all of the necessary onboarding information for the project we set the development site up with the Bridge theme, elementor Pro Plugin, and a few other necessary plugins.

The client requested that we develop the site using the Elementor Pro plugin in order to give them access to make changes and updates to the site at their leisure.

Elementor is a front-end drag and drop design tool that makes mocking up and creating sites a breeze. We used Elementor, as well as HTML and CSS to complete the site skeleton.

Our Goals
  • Load Bridge Theme
  • Load Necessary Plugins
  • Begin Developing Site Skeleton
Progress update

After we finished the skeleton layouts for each page of the Calla Health website we then sent the website drafts over to the client who reviewed each page and provided Feedback.

We then went through several rounds of feedback & revisions before landing on a skeleton design that the client was happy with.

From there we added the main design elements, icons, images, and color scheme to the site in order to bring it to life.

Our Goals
  • Update Website Pages based on client feedback
  • Add Design elements & main images
  • Add Icons & Consistent color scheme

What the Customer thinks

I couldn’t be happier with the design, development, and technical support that we received from Brian & the More Seconds team. They were able to stick with us through a ton of revisions and updates that eventually produced a stunning new website for our friends at Bistro Boudin. Thank you!!!
